Meet Noemi

In the lush cloud forests where Yungas coffee grows, Noemí shines as one of the bright young voices of her community. The daughter of Lucio Tintalla and Zenobia Masa, she has always been known for her warm spirit, intelligence, and curiosity about the world beyond her village.

When the Andean Alliance (Partner org of Yungas) first began working in the region, Noemí quickly stood out — not only for her charm and intelligence, but for her eagerness to learn and to contribute to her community’s growth. Her dedication earned her a scholarship to study in the capital city of Cuzco, opening the door to new experiences and education that will one day come full circle back to her home in the cloud forest.
